THE BRIEF

 As part of our role at the London 2012 Olympic Games, 2013 World Swimming Championships in Barcelona and the Glasgow 2014 Commonweallth Games it was our role to increase media audiences, worldwide profile and add significant media value for our partners.

TRA maintained key relationships with broadcasters across the world in order to create publicity for Pacific Oceania teams. Relationships that resulted in Pacific island athletes being viewed by millions across the world on prestigious platforms.

The PACIFIC BEAT SHOW on ABC RADIO AUSTRALIA is a dedicated Pacific radio show.

IMPACT

 To have globally recognised media brands covering ONOC stories so extensively, verified the integrity of the stories to worldwide audiences and media outlets. ABC Radio has an audience potential reach of 200+ million worldwide. ABC FM frequencies cover the main cities across the Pacific. This coordinated PR activity allowed sustained coverage throughout the Games and brought Oceania athletes to the forefront of the wide reaching show in home territories.

ABC Grandstand Sport a TV sports bulletin focused on the Pacific during the Olympics, it broadcast The Reporters.’ Academy footage featuring Oceania Olympic teams in London, the show reached approximately 34 million homes across 44 Asia Pacific countries.

The audience potential was 200 million+ across all ABC platforms.
